Funeral services for Don Martin, 58, of Levelland will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lubbock, Texas. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. He died Friday, June 3, 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Don was born on November 4, 1952 in Pampa, Texas to Mor-ris and Wanda (Buckner) Martin. He married Connie Sue Blankenship on January 11, 1981. He was the owner of Levelland Floor Covering and a financial advisor. He presently was employed as an Insurance Adjuster and was the owner of Star of Texas Show Pigs.
Survivors include his loving wife, Connie Sue Martin of Levelland, Texas; three sons:
Clayton Martin and his wife, Casey of Kyle, Texas; Joel Martin and his wife, Mandi of Ruidoso, New Mexico; Kevin Martin and his wife,
Danielle of Austin, Texas: a daughter Kelsey Martin Pape and her husband Adam of Grapevine, Texas; seven grandchildren: Kailey, Colton, Gracie, Emma, Easton, Chloe and Madelyn; his mother: Wanda Martin of Roswell, New Mexico; a brother Jeff Martin and his wife, Dorothy and a sister: Marsha Ro-bertson and her husband, Donnie, all of Roswell, New Mexico
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jerry Martin.
