carl was a kind and gentle soul. When Daddy retired from law pracitce, he did many things, including being a hospital volunteer: at that time St. Mary's and Eastern. He would see Carl and his mother gong into Eastern for kidney dialysis. He looked so frail at our last reunion. I saw him one time after that, and he looked 90 years old. What is sad is, I think his little mother outlived him.
Robert E. Belt
As I remember, Carl was the only male baton twriler with the band.
He was always cheerfull & friendly with a big smile for all and full of energy.
I thought that I saw him at the last reunion, I recall that he was not looking well at the time. Seems I spoke with him at the picknick.
If I my recolections are incorrect someone please correct me on this.
Tom Dunlap

I'm so sorry - he was precious - so remember him in the band. This is all making me so sad.
