Wow, it just doesn't seem right that he's gone, he had such high-energy. I remember in 1971 just the two of us borrowed my parents car and drove over to Lubbock Texas for the summer peace Festival. There were such groups as: Canned Heat, Janis Joplin, etc. it was a hoot, but trying to sleep in my parents car was horrible. We will miss you Boyd. Does anyone know how we died? Douglas Schulz

Boyd and I were both plumbers' helpers out at the base in the summer of '71. Stanky job. Hard worker. Always a smile and a joke.
