I am stunned by news of Jim Torpey. I exchanged an email thread with Jim in 2015. In this exchange, Jim told me that he once attended School at Carroll College in Helena, and he worked weekends as a hand on his uncle’s ranch. I am sad to know of Jim’s passing. RIP Jim Torpey.
It saddens me that Jim Torrey has passed. I didn’t hang much with Jim at Goddard but he seemed like a nice guy. When he contacted me in 2015 to tell me his connection to Helena, MT it gave me a sense of commonality with Jim. And then, just like that, Jim is gone.
